Recently (25/03/2023) we had a seminar with Tommy Joe Moore on WW2 Military Combatives at the Seal Martial Arts Dojo. The Kamae are traditional stances and postures that position your body in the most efficient way for the technique that you are about to perform. This is particularly important when using weapons like the Katana so that you do not cut yourself with the blade by having your leg in the wrong place when performing Chiburi for example. Seal Martial Arts Shurikenjutsu is our Shuriken, Knife and Tomahawk throwing organisation that was previously called Shinobi Shurikenjutsu. After much deliberation I decided to close Shinobi Shurikenjutsu towards the end of 2022 in order to rebrand the association and incorporate it into the Seal Martial Arts Dojo. Becoming a black belt in Seal Martial Arts Kobudo is no easy task! It takes a years of study and dedicated training to be accepted as one of our instructors.  One of the problems i found in the Bujinkan is there isn’t a clear standard for Shodan (1st Dan) and beyond.
